– involved in damage assessment (flooding and wind damage) caused by Hurricane Isaac (August 2012)
– Involved in damage assessment caused by Hurricane Sandy (November 2012)

– SENSUM Project (EU FP7): design and implementation of Python algorithms for the extraction of “vulnerability indicators” (e.g. built-up areas, building footprints) from EO imagery
– Executive Project D3 (Italian Civil Protection): geo-referencing of ground-pictures related to industrial buildings affected by the earthquake in 2012 and consequent damage assessment

– SENSUM Project (EU FP7): refinement of methods designed during the previous collaboration, including the development of a plugin for QGIS; production of project-related documentation (deliverables, software documentation)
