From 2001, the Istituto Universitario di Studi Superiori offers unique Masters and Doctorate Programs in Seismic Engineering at the international ROSE School ( European School for Reduction of Seismic Risk).These programs are one of their kind in the world and offer: faculty from among the most important experts in the world in the field of Seismic Engineering, Seismology, Structural Engineering and other disciplines. Intensive courses are offered (9 per year) each of which have a duration of about a month, to around forty students coming from every part of Europe and the world (Latin America, India, New Zealand, etc).

Eucentre participates actively in development and training activity in the school: some of the professors in the school are researchers or collaborators at the Eucentre.The courses are held in the Lecture hall of the centre, many of the students of the school participate in research projects at the Eucentre. Students thus get the opportunity to immediately verify and apply their knowledge, apart from dealing with real-world situations in Italy and abroad. This is an experience that is different from the academic experience at the University, which could open future career paths.
