Pratictioners Partnership As part of an initiative to support the world of the engineering practice, Eucentre encourages collaborative relationships with practioners, with the aim of actively supporting them by sharing information through educational and cooperative activities, facilitating the exchange of information among members and others, fostering a sense of shared commitment among the diverse communities dedicated to earthquake risk management, promoting research, speaking with a common voice to public forums and legislative bodies on behalf of the diverse risk management community. Institutional Partnership It is in the interests of the Eucentre to establish permanent cooperation agreements with companies that operate in the different areas related to Earthquake Engineering, such as:
design of antiseismic structures;the development of technologies and equipment for the protection of works and buildings and for the reduction of the seismic risk;the development of materials and construction techniques with elevated resistance characteristics as well as deformative and dissipative capacities;the development of instruments and equipment for the control of the response and the measurement of several physical aspects, such as forces, movements, speed, acceleration, etc.;the development of techniques and experimental and numerical instruments which are useful for the development of knowledge in the field of Earthquake engineering.
The statute of the Centre establishes that rights and duties of the supporting committees are determined by specific agreements signed with each institution.
Two levels of Subscribing Partnerships are available, GOLD and SILVER.
