| The Master dissertation of Eng.Paolo Morandi entitled: “Inconsistencies in codified procedures for seismic design of masonry buildings”, supervised by Prof. Guido Magenes (University of Pavia), has been awarded the prize as the best thesis in the competition “Studies and researches on clay masonry 2007” promoted by ANDIL the “Italian Association of Clay Masonry Producers” and by the Italian Ceramic Society (I.Cer.S.). The judging Committee has reported that Paolo Morandi’s work has produced results of great scientific relevance that have been included in the new Italian seismic regulations.
