The Eucentre Foundation is actively involved in developing early warning systems that monitor territory and infrastructure in real time and provide early warnings in the event of potential danger.<br \/>\nEucentre takes a multidisciplinary scientific approach, integrating seismic engineering, advanced sensors, artificial intelligence and digital technologies to create effective solutions that support civil protection, local authorities and infrastructure managers.<br \/>\nThe early warning systems developed within the projects in which Eucentre participated are based on a network of intelligent instruments that are capable of:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">automatically detect the response of any type of structure under any type of stress;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">automatically analyse data in real time to report events based on their origin, and they have the potential to integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">provide timely alerts, enabling the relevant authorities to activate evacuation, inspection or damage containment protocols, and to communicate effectively with affected users, supporting them during the emergency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Early warning systems represent a technological frontier for mitigating the effects of events on communities.
