A Jury selects two outstanding contributions presented by Young Engineers at IABSE Conferences and present them with the <em>\u201cOutstanding Contribution Award\u201d<\/em>, consisting of a diploma and a money prize. The financial support to this programme is since 2009 exclusively offered by IABSE Fellows. At the 40th IABSE Symposium, held in Nantes (France) in September 2018 one of the two awards has been won by <span style=\"color: #11509c;\"><strong>Dr. Marco Furinghetti<\/strong><\/span>, thanks to the presentation entitled <em>\u201cOptimized design of Seismic Isolation Systems for Existing Bridges\u201d<\/em>.
