In a significant initiative testifying to the growing international collaboration in the field of precasting and seismic resistance, Eucentre hosted a group of precasters from Turkey, marking the ninth edition of the Italian Technical Mission. This event was made possible thanks to CSG Engineering<\/strong><\/a>, known for its commitment to organising events that highlight Italian excellence in the precast sector.<\/p>\n

The visit, which took place on March the 6th<\/sup> 2024, was attended by leading precast companies in Turkey, including Alacali \u0130n\u015faat, Ankara Kam, Beta\u015f Prefabrik, Prekast Beton, Betonel Prefabrik, Milimetrik Prefabrik and Mavita\u015f Prefabrik A.\u015e<\/strong>. For many of these professionals, it was their first time in Italy, while others had already visited in the past, a sign of the positivity and value found in previous missions.<\/p>\n

CSG Engineering, through this initiative, thus wished to emphasise the request of the Turkish precasters association, who are interested in exploring the innovations and best practices in the field of precasting and seismic resistance that Italy, and in particular Eucentre, have to offer. The inclusion of Eucentre among the stops on this mission is no coincidence: the foundation is recognised worldwide for its pioneering research into earthquakes and resilient building systems.<\/p>\n

During their stay, the visitors had the opportunity to explore Eucentre’s advanced testing facilities and attend a lecture given by researchers and experts from the foundation, immersing themselves in the activities and projects conducted to improve safety and innovation in the construction sector. This year, the mission also takes on a special significance, celebrating the 10th anniversary of these technical initiatives, which began in 2014.<\/p>\n

The decision to dedicate this edition exclusively to Turkish professionals underlines the importance of the seismic issue for Turkey and the Italian interest in innovative practices such as that of a precaster who exports his products as far as Japan. Such examples of excellence and diversified market strategies offer food for thought and potential future collaborations between professionals from the two countries.<\/p>\n

This visit represents not only an opportunity to learn and exchange knowledge but also a moment of cultural sharing, paving the way for future international collaborations.
