The grant provides a fixed, non-repayable contribution of <strong>\u20ac30,000<\/strong> per innovation project, based on minimum eligible expenses of \u20ac50,000.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With a total financial allocation of \u20ac6 million, the call evaluates applications in chronological order until the funds are exhausted. Submit applications via the Lombardy Region&#8217;s Bandi e Servizi platform; the call remains\u00a0open <strong>until 3:00 PM on 31 March 2027<\/strong>, unless funds are exhausted earlier.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Who is Eligible to Apply?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This opportunity is tailored for <strong>Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs)<\/strong>, including innovative startups and innovative SMEs, that meet the following criteria at the time of submission:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Register and active in the Italian Register of Enterprises;<\/li>\n<li>Active operational headquarters based in Lombardy;<\/li>\n<li>Must collaborate with <strong>one to three designated Research Organisations (OdR)<\/strong>, which must be identified and named in the application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Funding Focus: PoC, Prototyping, and MVPs<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To be eligible, projects must align with the Lombardy Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3 2021-2027) and incorporate at least one of these critical interventions:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Proof of Concept (PoC):<\/strong> Assessing and verifying the technical feasibility of an innovative idea.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prototyping:<\/strong> Developing a physical or experimental model for laboratory testing, characterisation, and validation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Minimum Viable Product (MVP):<\/strong> Building the first functional version of a pilot product to be tested in real-world or operational conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eligible Costs<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 12-month projects can receive funding for:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Research Organisation Services:<\/strong> Advanced scientific consulting, testing, validation, and laboratory usage fees (the primary expense);<\/li>\n<li><strong>Materials and Intangible Assets:<\/strong> Raw materials, software, and components used to construct the prototype (capped at 30% of the Research Organisation\u2019s fee);<\/li>\n<li><strong>SME Personnel:<\/strong> Factored as a flat-rate 20% of the two categories above;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Indirect Costs:<\/strong> Calculated at a flat rate of 7% of all direct project costs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Why Partner with Eucentre as your Research Organisation?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finding the right scientific partner is key to securing this grant. <strong>Fondazione Eucentre<\/strong> in Pavia, Italy, is an internationally recognised <strong>Research Organisation<\/strong> with laboratory facilities accredited to the <strong>ISO\/IEC 17025<\/strong>standard, making it the perfect partner for Lombardy-based SMEs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Collaborating with Eucentre allows SMEs to include crucial engineering, structural, and validation work within their &#8220;Rafforza&amp;Innova&#8221;
