UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation: extension to tests on non-structural elements

28/04/2020Renato Fuchs

The EUCENTRE Foundation is proud to announce that from 23rd April 2020 the accreditation has been extended to shake table tests according to the main international standards on non-structural elements.
A great success, achieved thanks to the constant commitment of the all Eucentre’s team, which attest the high quality levels in which the Foundation’s laboratories work.
We would like to remind you that get in contact with a ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory, means working with a structure that, in accordance with recognized and applicable standards, could guarantee impartiality and competence thanks to a rigorous periodic assessment process performed by a third party body (ACCREDIA, https://www.accredia.it/).
The international standard ISO/IEC 17025 defines the requirements that a laboratory must satisfy in order to demonstrate the staff technical competence , the validity of the applied methods, the traceability of the metrology of the measurements, the correct assessment of the uncertainty, the correct management of the test equipment, sampling and test samples management and the ability to guarantee technically valid test results.
Accreditation also allows the laboratory to issue certificates that have full validity and international recognition.

Below the list of tests:

IEC 62271-207:2012 High-voltage switchgear and controlgear – Part 207: Seismic qualification for gas-insulated switchgear assemblies for rated voltages above 52 kV
IEC 60980:1989 Recommended practices for seismic qualification of electrical equipment of the safety system for nuclear generating stations
IEC/IEEE 60780-323:2016 Nuclear facilities – Electrical equipment important to safety – Qualification
IEC 60068-3-3:2019 Environmental Testing – Part 3: Guidance. Seismic Test Methods For Equipment
IEC 60068-2-57:2013 Environmental testing – Part 2-57: Tests – Test Ff: Vibration – Time-history and sine-beat method
IEC 60068-2-64:2008/AMD1:2019 Amendment 1 – Environmental testing – Part 2-64: Tests – Test Fh: Vibration, broadband random and guidance
ISO 13033:2013 – 9.3.1-9.3.2-Annex G NSCS Verification by seismic qualification testing
