After the increasingly successful conferences held in Tokyo 1995, Lisbon 1999, Berkeley 2004, Thessaloniki 2007, Santiago 2011 and Christchurch 2015, Rome will host the 7th International Conference on Seismic Geotechnical Engineering (VII ICEGE) from 17 to 20 June 2019.
The event is organized by the Italian Geotechnical Association (AGI), International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE), European Association for Earthquake Engineering (EAEE) and International Geosynthetics Society (IGS); with the endorsement of the Consiglio Superiore Lavori Pubblici, Dipartimento della Protezione Civile (DPC), Regione Abruzzo, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV), Istituto Superiore per la Protezione e la Ricerca Ambientale (ISPRA), Consiglio Nazionale degli Ingegneri (CNI), Consiglio Nazionale dei Geologi (CNG), Centro Europeo di Formazione e Ricerca in Ingegneria Sismica (Eucentre), Rete dei Laboratori Universitari di Ingegneria Sismica (ReLUIS), Comitato Nazionale Italiano per le Grandi Dighe (ITCOLD), Associazione Nazionale Italiana di Ingegneria Sismica (ANIDIS)and of the Associazione Nazionale Costruttori Edili (ANCE).
Eucentre is a non-profit private law foundation whose mission is to conduct research and provide training and services in earthquake and safety engineering
