The 7th Nigel Priestley International Seminar (corresponding to the twenty-first edition of the traditional ROSE Seminar) was held in Pavia on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 June 2023.
The Seminar represented an opportunity during which students and alumni of the PhD programme of the ROSE centre of the IUSS Pavia have the opportunity to present and discuss their research work to an audience of international experts.
In addition to the standard presentations on the research work carried out at the IUSS, the seminar hosted Prof. Farzad Naeim – University of Southern California, who gave the Keynote lecture entitled Seismic Design of Tall Buildings – Past, Present, Future.
To close the event, the traditional awarding ceremony of PhD and Master students who have completed their studies.
