Antonella Di Meo is working as a Researcher of Level II in the office of Eucentre in Naples.
In May 2009, she graduated with honors in Civil Engineering (field of study: buildings and structures) at the University of Cassino and Lazio Meridionale.
She started in the Eucentre in January 2010 with emphasis on structural vulnerability and seismic risk.
Since then, she has participated in many projects such as “Tools and Technologies for Risk Management of Transport Infrastructures (STRIT)” funded by MIUR and the European project SASPARM2.0 (Support Action for Strengthening PAlestine capabilities for seismic Risk Mitigation).
She is currently involved in various projects funded by the Italian Civil Protection Department (DPC) that involve seismic risk calculation and damage scenarios for Italian school buildings, residential buildings on a territorial scale, and the general infrastructure Italian system (road network, ports, airports, and tunnels).
She is also involved in the project funded by RFI for seismic risk assessment of the Italian railway system.
