At ANCE Pavia, Mapei S.p.A. and Eucentre presented the latest innovations in the field of rehabilitation and structural reinforcement.
At an event organized by ANCE Pavia, Mapei S.p.A., in collaboration with Eucentre, presented the latest innovations in the field of rehabilitation and structural reinforcement. The meeting focused on the advanced solutions offered by Mapei for rehabilitating reinforced concrete structures, highlighting FRP systems, technical characteristics, regulatory references, and some important case histories.
During the session, Mapei S.p.A. engineer Francesca Banfi presented the technology of the new FRC micro concretes, including HPC mortars, designed for the reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures and floors with low thickness. These solutions represent a step forward in optimizing the durability and strength of existing structures, responding to the growing needs of the industry.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of MAPEI STRUCTURAL DESIGN by Eucentre engineer Davide Bellotti. This innovative calculation tool, developed in close collaboration with Eucentre, was presented as a fundamental resource for designing reinforcement systems. Practical examples were used to demonstrate the software’s ability to simplify the calculation process and provide designers with a reliable platform that complies with international standards.
The initiative of Mapei S.p.A., in collaboration with Eucentre at ANCE Pavia, underlines the joint commitment to promote innovation and safety in the construction sector, providing engineers and designers with the necessary tools to face the challenges of structural rehabilitation with state-of-the-art solutions.
