Eucentre at MADE Expo 2025: Seismic Innovation, Sustainability and New Frontiers in Construction at Milan Rho Fiera

The Eucentre Foundation will be taking part in MADE Expo 2025, scheduled from November 19th to 22nd, at the Milan Rho Fiera, with a stand dedicated to research, seismic safety and technologies for the building of the future. The Foundation’s presence at the main Italian event dedicated to construction represents a strategic opportunity to showcase expertise, projects, and frontier solutions to professionals, institutions, companies, and universities.
The Eucentre stand will be located in Hall 4 – L13. The interactive map is available here.
Eucentre will also contribute to the scientific programme of the event with two high-profile conferences, in collaboration with academic institutions and industry partners.

The evolution of earthquake engineering after WCEE2024

Wednesday November 19th, 1:00 – 2:00 pm, Sala Bramante by Fondazione Eucentre

The Programme

The seminar “The evolution of earthquake engineering after the WCEE2024 conference: emerging trends, open challenges and future directions” will provide an overview of the most advanced lines of research discussed at the last World Conference on Earthquake Engineering (WCEE2024), in which Eucentre actively participated.
The meeting will explore crucial topics for the development of the discipline, including:

  • new numerical modelling methodologies;
  • emerging trends in seismic design;
  • applications of digitisation to structural monitoring;
  • integration between academic research and engineering practices.

The conference represents a moment of direct confrontation with the international scientific scene, highlighting Eucentre’s role in defining future standards in earthquake engineering.

Building the future: sustainability, seismic safety and off-site innovation

Friday November 21st, 9.45 – 13.00, Sala Bramante Organised by Tecnostrutture, with the participation of Fondazione Eucentre

The Programme

The second appointment sees Eucentre taking part in the conference organised by Tecnostrutture, dedicated to the role of industrialised construction, off-site systems and resilient design.
The discussion will analyse:

  • innovative construction models for more sustainable and efficient buildings;
  • the integration of seismic safety requirements in industrialised systems;
  • the opportunities and regulatory constraints for the diffusion of off-site in Italy;
  • the dialogue between research bodies, companies and public administrations in the context of digital and environmental transition.

Eucentre’s participation testifies to the Foundation’s commitment to promoting advanced construction approaches that are fully consistent withsector’s  the sustainability, safety and circularity requireector.

A point of reference for seismic safety and innovation in construction

For the entire duration of MADE Expo 2025, visitors, professionals and stakeholders will be able to meet Eucentre researchers at stand L13 – Hall 4, where they will present:

  • experimental models and results of the most recent test campaigns;
  • digital solutions and platforms for monitoring and structural analysis;
  • activities related to advanced training (Master in Earthquake Engineering – ROSE School);
  • European initiatives and projects focusing on risk prevention and urban resilience.

Participation in MADE Expo 2025 confirms the Foundation’s role as a national hub for applied research on seismic risk, a point of contact between academia, professionals and industry, and a key player in the development of innovative strategies for safer and more sustainable construction.
