From October 5th to 13th, 2025, Italy will host the 7th edition of the National Civil Protection Week, promoted by the Department of Civil Protection in collaboration with Regional Authorities, local authorities, research institutions, and the voluntary sector. The initiative coincides with the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction on October 13th.
The Eucentre Foundation, together with Università degli Studi di Pavia, DICAr and IUSS Pavia, will actively participate in this nationwide initiative with the event “Science for Prevention in Civil Protection”, scheduled for October 9th, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., at its headquarters in Pavia, Via Ferrata 1.
The programme will include contributions from institutions and academia, addressing research, training and resilience, followed by guided tours of Eucentre’s laboratories and an experience on the 6D earthquake simulator.
