Eucentre ensures communication aimed at informing institutions, professionals, and citizens about ongoing activities and projects, with the goal of disseminating useful and accessible content and knowledge. It contributes to promoting a shared and informed culture of prevention and resilience.
Since 8 January 2026, Regulation (EU) 2024/3110 has been fully applicable across Europe. The new CPR (Construction Products Regulation) reshapes the rules for the CE marking of construction products. The Declaration of Performance yields to the Declaration of Performance and Conformity (DoPC), which is more comprehensive and available in digital format. Every product will feature a Digital Passport accompanying it throughout its entire life cycle. An eighth basic requirement (Annex I, Regulation (EU) 2024/3110), dedicated to emissions into the outdoor environment, is added to the seven established basic requirements. Furthermore, the Regulation introduces a new verification system for environmental performance alongside minimum sustainability criteria for public procurement: a fundamental shift that transforms sustainability into a structural criterion rather than an optional feature.

For manufacturers developing innovative solutions not yet covered by a harmonised standard, the pathway remains the European Technical Assessment (ETA): a tailored route requiring thorough characterisation of product performance, beginning with experimental testing.

Certifications and Technical Suitability for the National Framework
The same expertise – ranging from laboratory testing to calculations and conceptual design – also supports the national framework of the Technical Standards for Construction: Eucentre assists companies in developing Technical Assessment Certificates (CVT) and Technical Suitability Documents for Use (DiI), within the procedures of the Supreme Council of Public Works and the Central Technical Service.
