In July 2025, Eucentre successfully renewed its accreditation with Accredia, the sole National Accreditation Body appointed by the Italian Government under European Regulation No. 765/2008.
Accreditation Certificate No. 01329, granted to our Testing Laboratory and in compliance with the international standard UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018, will remain valid until 23 September 2029.
This achievement confirms Eucentre’s technical competence, impartiality, and the quality of its laboratory processes, fully aligned with internationally recognised standards of excellence. Accredia accreditation is acknowledged worldwide through mutual recognition agreements signed by EA, IAF and ILAC.
Accredited tests
The renewal is an opportunity to reaffirm the wide range of tests for which the Eucentre Laboratory is accredited. These include:
- Seismic qualification of high-voltage switchgear and controlgear (IEC 62271-207:2023)
- Environmental and vibration testing of electrical and electronic equipment (IEC 60068-2-57, IEC 60068-3-3, IEC 60068-2-64)
- Safety qualification of electrical equipment for nuclear facilities (IEC/IEEE 60780-323:2016)
- Seismic qualification of non-structural components for building applications (ISO 13033:2013)
- Testing of hydraulic connectors (Shock Transmission Units) according to UNI EN 15129:2009 and UNI EN 15129:2018
- Testing of fluid viscous dampers according to UNI EN 15129:2009 and UNI EN 15129:2018
- Seismic qualification of equipment important to safety in nuclear facilities (IEC/IEEE 60980-344:2020)
- Testing of curved surface sliding isolators (UNI EN 15129:2009 and UNI EN 15129:2018)
- Testing of elastomeric isolators (UNI EN 15129:2009 and UNI EN 15129:2018)
