Luca Albanesi obtained the Master of Engineering degree in Civil (Structural) Engineering at the University of Pavia in 2010, presenting a thesis about the seismic behaviour of masonry infills in r.c. frames.
Since 2012, he has been collaborating with the Eucentre Foundation, studying the seismic response of load-bearing masonry and of infilled r.c. frames, through numerical studies and experimental test campaigns.
During this period, he has followed several tests for the mechanical characterization of materials and has collaborated in the execution of various experimental tests (static and dynamic) on full-scale specimens.
In his professional activity as a licensed engineer, he has collaborated with different firms, dealing both with the design of new buildings and with the evaluation of existing buildings.

Eucentre is a non-profit private law foundation whose mission is to conduct research and provide training and services in earthquake and safety engineering
Eucentre promotes science, research and innovation for the benefit of the community, offering targeted methodologies and concrete solutions for prevention, safety and resilience. It collaborates with institutions and companies to disseminate competencies for the common good.
