He took the Master of Engineering in February 2011 at the University of Pavia (Italy) in Civil Engineering, structural design curriculum; then, he immediately started cooperating with EUCENTRE foundation since march 2011; in the meanwhile, he got the Master of Science (February 2013) and the PhD degree in Earthquake Engineering (December 2015) at the Understanding and Managing Extremes school (UMESchool) in Pavia.
During the first year of the PhD programme he worked as research fellow at the University of Toronto (UofT), under the supervision of Prof. Constantin Christopoulos. Nowadays, he is a research fellow at EUCENTRE Foundation; furthermore, he is adjunct professor of “Structural Engineering” (English language), for the Italian-Chinese Double-Degree in Building Engineering and Architecture and of “Seismic structural design” (Italian language), for the master of engineering degree of Civil Engineering of the University of Pavia (Italy).
His main scientific publications and research activities are primarily focused on modeling strategies and experimental techniques investigation of the behavior of seismic isolation systems.
