FABIO GERMAGNOLI

Fabio Germagnoli was born in Piacenza on May 30th, 1966. He graduated in electronic engineering from the University of Pavia in 1991 and obtained his PhD in bioengineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 1995. Since November 2006, he has served as Chief Operating Officer of the Eucentre Foundation, where he has coordinated operational and project activities, contributing to strategic decisions in pursuit of the Foundation’s mission. In July 2020, he became the Chief Executive Officer. He manages relations with partners and stakeholders and coordinates numerous national and international projects for the Eucentre Foundation.

Since July 2020, he has been president of the Cluster Technologies for Smart Cities and Communities Foundation – Lombardy. Since 2019, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Centre for Research on Risk Reduction (CI3R), Consortium of Competence Centres of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department of Civil Protection. Since the same year, he has been a contract professor in “Electronic and Computer Bioengineering” at the Department of Clinical, Surgical, Diagnostic, and Pediatric Sciences at the University of Pavia.
He is a co-author of more than 60 scientific publications.
