I graduated cum laude in Civil Engineering from the University of Pavia and completed a PhD in Structural Engineering at the Milan Polytechnic/University of Pavia consortium. I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the University of Pavia.
He is an advisor to the Industrial Products Department at the Eucentre Foundation in Pavia.
He has over 25 years’ experience conducting theoretical and experimental research in the field of seismic vulnerability of reinforced concrete structures, base seismic isolation, and experimental methods for structural engineering. He designed the experimental equipment for the Eucentre Foundation laboratories, including the largest vibrating table in Europe, a multi-axial vibrating table and one of the world’s largest dynamic simulators for 3D testing of seismic isolation devices, as well as a hybrid testing system. He has coordinated numerous national and international scientific research projects and is the author of over 150 scientific publications.
