Michele Pisani has worked as a laboratory technician at the Eucentre Foundation in Pavia since 2005.
He obtained his diploma in Industrial Engineering, specialising in Electrical Engineering and Automation, from the Cardano Technical Institute in Pavia.
His main duties at the foundation include setting up tests on vibrating tables and seismic isolators, conducting cyclic tests on retaining walls, carrying out destructive and non-destructive tests, and applying structural reinforcement methods.
He holds numerous certifications and technical qualifications that guarantee his expertise in laboratory and field operations.
In particular:
- Occupational Safety: General and specific training for high-risk workers and a course on the safe use of industrial gases;
- Overhead Crane Licence: Qualification as an overhead crane operator;
- First Aid and Firefighting: Training as a first-aid and medium-risk fire-fighting operator;
- Forklift licence: Qualification to operate self-propelled industrial forklifts (forklift trucks);
- Working at Height Qualification: Operating ladders and scaffolding;
- Aerial Platforms: Training in the use of aerial platforms with and without stabilisers;
- Transport: Road Transport of Dangerous Goods Course;
He is also familiar with Microsoft Office and Google packages.
