On June 27 Eucentre received a delegation from the Chinese foundation Wenchuan Earthquake Reconstruction, a body that contributed to the reconstruction after the terrible earthquake that struck the Sichuan province in 2008. The visit offered the opportunity for a confrontation focused on training and exchange of knowledge related to post-earthquake reconstruction and related activities. At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed that envisages a possible scientific cooperation in the field of seismic risk.
