On May 23rd and 24th, 2024, the prestigious Cardinal Agostino Riboldi College in Pavia will host the eighth edition of the Nigel Priestley International Seminar (corresponding to the twenty-second edition of the ROSE Seminar). The event, focusing on earthquake engineering and seismic risk reduction, is organised by the School of Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia in collaboration with the Fondazione Eucentre and is aimed at professionals, researchers, and students in the field worldwide.
ROSE Programmes: Excellence in Education and Research
IUSS Pavia, through the ROSE Centre, has for some time been offering Master’s and PhD programmes in seismic risk mitigation, integrating disciplines such as structural and geotechnical engineering, applied mathematics and engineering seismology. These programmes are known for their intensity and quality, guaranteeing a high level of training thanks to the close collaboration with the University of Pavia and the Eucentre Foundation.
Participation in the event
In addition to ROSE teachers and students, a maximum of 50 external participants can be admitted. Special conditions apply for external researchers and students. For further information on costs and to register for the seminar, please contact the Eucentre Foundation secretariat at info@eucentre.it.
