Davide Bolognini collaborates since 2003 as a researcher at the Eucentre Foundation. He is involved in activities related to the development of projects on emergency housing, experimental seismic tests on different types of structures and non-structural components, signal monitoring and processing, vulnerability analysis, development of expeditious methods for dynamic characterizations, scientific papers and research reports.
He has also gained various years of experience in:
- coordination of a research area (for which he managed numerical and experimental projects on vulnerability assessments of precast structures on behalf of the Italian Civil Protection and private companies);
- management of training activities for professionals (organizer and speaker of technical courses on the design of precast structures in seismic areas);
- specialized technical publishing (editor of a journal on the design of structures in seismic areas);
- programming of finite element codes for the static and dynamic nonlinear analysis of masonry structures and reinforced concrete structures;
- consultancy in the design of large-span precast structures;
- component of the Working Group of the Italian Civil Protection (established by the Decree of the Head of the Department of Civil Protection 5/3/2012 n. 827) aimed to the preparation of the Form (called “GL-AeDES”) for the post-earthquake assessment of damage of large span precast structures.
