Dal 6 al 9 giugno, L’ Unità droni di EUCENTRE è stata impegnata in Centro Italia in un’esercitazione per il rilievo speditivo post evento.
L’esercitazione è stata organizzata in un contesto realistico nelle frazioni di Accumuli ed Amatrice, due dei comuni maggiormente colpiti dal sisma nel 2016.
L’attività si è svolta nell’ambito del progetto operativo per la Protezione Civile Nazionale dal titolo “Servizi di supporto alla preparazione per la gestione tecnica dell’emergenza e la risposta rapida”, coordinato dal Dipartimento di Supporto all’ Emergenza della Fondazione. I droni sono stati utilizzati per il rilievo speditivo del costruito su aree di media estensione, finalizzato alla valutazione dello stato di danno ed al calcolo dei volumi di macerie potenzialmente da rimuovere in una condizione di emergenza post terremoto.
