Earthquake - Update on Eucentre activities
20.3.2017 «Eucentre activities were completed under the coordination of the National Civil Protection and the Ministry of Heritage and Culture and Tourism, for testing the compliance with safety standards of the monumental buildings. In the eight months of intense activity, the teams of the Foundation have conducted nearly 700 inspections, distributed over four regions affected by the earthquake. Most of the checks were carried out on the monumental buildings, on school facilities, on public buildings and production structures.
In particular the Eucentre teams have been involved in the compiling of the assessment forms related to the churches, the Aedes forms, the Fast forms for heritage buildings and for long span structures.
The foundation will concentrate its efforts on the analysis of the collected data, in order to enrich the information in its database and share with the technical-scientific community the results of these months of field work.»
