DESIGNA software, developed by the EUCENTRE Foundation, has been chosen by the Civil Protection Department (DPC) to manage the accommodation needs of people displaced by the ongoing bradyseismic phenomena in the Campi Flegrei area.
EUCENTRE’s technicians are working both in the field in Pozzuoli and remotely, providing support and training to officials from the DPC, the Campania Region and the municipalities of Pozzuoli and Bacoli, as well as to managers of accommodation facilities housing evacuees.
DESIGNA is a state-of-the-art IT system that optimises the allocation of evacuees in available facilities, considering various factors such as the composition of households, possible disabilities or specific needs. It allows efficient and real-time management of the complex logistics of the emergency.
