Department Risk Scenarios
PhD. Elisa Zuccolo is Senior Researcher at the Risk Scenarios Department of the EUCENTRE Foundation. She received her PhD in Geophysics of the Lithosphere and Geodynamics at the University of Trieste in 2010. Since then, she collaborates with the Eucentre Fundation and the University of Pavia. Her research interests cover several topics in seismology and engineering seismology, including physics-based ground motion simulation, propagation of seismic waves and evaluation of site effects, probabilistic and deterministic seismic hazard assessment, earthquake early warning and definition of seismic input for nonlinear dynamic analyses. She participated in several national and international research projects and she is author/co-author of more than 60 scientific publications.
